In solidarity with CNN, major television networks have decided to suspend pool coverage of US President Donald Trump, the channel reported in a post on X on Monday.
Pool coverage refers to a system in which major news organisations share the responsibility of capturing and distributing footage related to the president.

The move comes a day after three news outlets - CNN, MS NOW and Politico- filed a lawsuit against Trump administration over being denied access to the White House.
The three outlets said they had filed the lawsuit in a joint statement posted on X, two days after their reporters were blocked from the White House and prevented from doing their jobs. The outlets stated that the ban amounted to a violation of their First Amendment rights.
The actions were described as a clear escalation of Trump's long-running efforts to restrict news coverage by journalists he finds objectionable.
